The Clambake is a traditional seafood picnic in the New England region of the United States. Early settlers adopted and elaborated on the celebration from the coastal Indians. The Indians would steam shellfish over hot stones, under a bed of seaweed. Now we see anything from Oyster Shucking Companies to Lobster Roll Food Trucks .. "People are hooked on ALL types of clambakes, and you dont have to be in Cape Cod to have a great one"..says Chef Franco Vitella, from Venue 104. His clambake stations have been getting nods from clients over the years.
